Passionated of Arts and Wildlife he put an end to this activity to started works of sculpture and become self-taught sculptor in the early 2000s.
His work quickly focused on the notion of Force and movement.
The reflection is based on an equilibrium point at the limit of breaking balance.
The sculpture conception is based on Three points corresponding to the animal’s three legs.
The fourth leg is floating and suggest doubt about the subject’s attitude, determination and decision.
His artistic approach is too deeply rooted in his fascination with nature.
After much observation in the mountains and along Mediterranean coast, he developed the concept of pre-existing form of roots.
Through the shape and structure of the wood the aim is to discern a form resembling a subject, in this case an animal.
Working primarily in bronze, he seeks to convey both the vitality and fragility of the animal world.
Each piece is shaped by meticulous observation, with a particular focus on anatomy and texture, giving his sculptures a sense of raw energy.
He has exhibited in several prestigious venues, including the Mall Galleries in London, where his sculpture Black Panther was selected by the David Shepherd Foundation and received the highly commended price wildlife Artist of the 2023 year.
His upcoming work, The Ranthambore Tiger, will be presented at the Royal British Society of Artists in 2025. This project was developed in collaboration with wildlife photographer Arjun Anan, whose fieldwork in India’s Ranthambore National Park played a key role in shaping the sculpture.
